Job summary

Centria Autism in Taylor, MI is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

You will receive comprehensive training and work in a supportive team environment, with opportunities to grow in the field of behavioral analysis.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Support reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with a team to implement behavior intervention plans.
