Job summary

Centria Autism in Detroit, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing individualized intervention plans and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and a willingness to learn; comprehensive training is provided, with an emphasis on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
