Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's supervision, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Tuberculosis test within the last year.
• Background check required before employment.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while supporting the child’s development.
