Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism and dedicated to teamwork.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and tuberculosis testing within a year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Support and collaborate with BCBA under supervision.
