Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

You’ll need patience, compassion, and teamwork, plus 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED. Training is provided; CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Desire to help children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Plan to obtain RBT certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
