Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a focus on meaningful family impact. Pay range is $18–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one services to children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Mobility and safety: assist children who weigh up to 50 pounds as needed.
