Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team in the United States. In this role you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child, even if you don’t have prior experience.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test within a year.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
