Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

We provide training and require CPR/First Aid, TB test, and a background check. A Registered Behavior Technician Certification is required after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion; ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test
• Background check required
• Ability to move, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and maintain safety.
