Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while helping reduce challenging behaviors. No prior experience required; training is provided and a CPR/First Aid certification may be requested.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test upon request.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and ensure child safety.
