Centria Healthcare in Michigan is seeking energetic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA-guided plan. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
