Job summary

Centria Autism in Canby, Oregon is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, following individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand and assist children with diverse activities; pay range is $19-$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement evidence-based behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and build positive, supportive interactions with children and families.
