Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors in a supportive team setting.
