Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and expect you to be patient, compassionate, and a strong team player. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Support children in various positions and safe interactions.
