Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians in Albany, Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children, applying individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's supervision to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patience, and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children with autism. Training is provided, with a pay range of $19–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Receive comprehensive training to prepare you for the role.
