Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; candidates must be patient and able to stand, walk, lift, and help children up to 50 pounds. Pay range is $19-$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team oriented.
• 18+ years of age with HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in reducing interfering behaviors and progressing toward goals.
• Be able to stand, walk, lift, and assist with children weighing up to 50 pounds.
