Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking an Autism Technician to deliver in-home and community behavioral services to patients in the autism program under supervision. You will participate in the treatment team, observe progress, and document care in the medical record.

The role supports daily de-escalation practices, with a 20-hour weekly schedule, days shift, and alignment to Mercy Behavioral Health Services goals.

Qualifications

• Must complete 40 hours of autism orientation.
• CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record for Mercyhealth fleet or personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community behavioral services to patients with autism as directed in the treatment plan.
• Participate as a treatment team member by attending meetings and providing feedback about patient progress.
• Document observations and care provided in the medical record.
