Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, working one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
