Job summary

Centria Autism in Texas is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and team‑oriented.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one with children to implement intervention plans.
• Use evidence‑based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Support guidance from a BCBA and training provided.
• Maintain safety and positive behavior during sessions.
• Collaborate with team and families to monitor progress.
