Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. You must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test; successfully pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Assist children in various positions and safely lift/carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
