Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in Wilsonville, OR. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing personalized intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills, and promoting safety and well-being.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable with active movement and varied positions throughout the day.

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age.
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
Ability to pass a pre employment background check
Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Maintain safety and adapt to children’s needs.
Participate in onboarding and training.
