Job summary

Centria Autism in Wilsonville, Oregon seeks Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You'll implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training, and you will be part of a supportive team. Physical tasks include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to caregivers and families.
