Job summary

Pediatrics Plus is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with special needs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement behavior analytic services, collect data, and help maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.

This role requires effective communication, reliability, and the ability to work with families and children from birth to age 21. We offer competitive pay, PTO, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete 40 hours of paid training within 90 days of hire.
• Pass the RBT competency assessment by supervising BCBA.
• Pass the RBT exam with BACB to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Criminal background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Support implementation of the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).
• Assist in daily data collection and entry; update graphs.
• Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA (e.g., ABC data collection).
• Prepare materials for sessions per the skill acquisition program.
• Implement teaching procedures and interventions per BCBA guidance.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and data storage.
• Keep child under visual supervision at all times.
• Communicate professionally with parents and staff.
• Represent the program positively to visitors.
