Job summary

Centria Autism in Dearborn, MI is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one sessions under supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teach communication, social and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years old.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Participate in comprehensive training and supervision.
• Collaborate with a compassionate team to support children’s development.
