Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based strategies to build communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and pass background checks. Pay ranges from $20 to $29 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors in collaboration with the team.
