Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires compassion, teamwork and physical stamina to move and lift up to 50 pounds. Onboarding includes CPR/First Aid and certification training; pay ranges from $20 to $29 per hour, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support client progress.
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by Centria.
• Move and assist children up to 50 pounds as needed.
