Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, following individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork; training is provided, and certification steps begin after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques and minimize interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with the team and maintain safety during activities.
