Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Tigard, OR to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow in the field of behavioral analysis; physical activity is part of the role as clients may move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
