Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians in Oregon. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance.

You’ll teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while collaborating with a supportive team. Full training is provided, including CPR/First Aid and TB tests as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support BCBA guidance and collaborate with the team to reduce interfering behaviors.
