Centria Autism in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and support a patient, team-oriented environment. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds; pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Keep children safe and manage challenging behaviors as needed.
