Job summary

Centria Autism in Saint Joseph, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teach communication, social and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive team environment.

No prior experience required—comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates should be patient, compassionate and physically able to assist children up to 50 pounds;

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to develop and reinforce communication, social and daily living skills.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test if not current.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Assist with teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
