Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while helping reduce challenging behaviors. Training is provided to equip you for success in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Assist BCBA under supervision to monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children during activities.
