Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based methods.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and HS diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test must be obtained.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and track progress.
• Ensure safety and supportive environment for children during activities.
• Collaborate with team to support child goals and family updates.
