Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Training is provided to new hires, with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and a team player, 18+ years old, with a high school

Qualifications

• Patient and compassionate attitude.
• Able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Pass background check.
• Ability to move in various positions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Plan to obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
