Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA and using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, value patient, compassionate team players, and offer a pay range of $20 - $26 per hour. Join a dedicated team making a real difference in lives.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test within the first year.
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• MD Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Participate in comprehensive training to be empowered to help each child.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and make a meaningful impact.
