Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, working one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA to implement individualized intervention plans. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting safety and reducing challenging behaviors in a supportive team environment.

Comprehensive training is provided; you should be patient, compassionate, and physically capable to stand, move, and lift up

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under a BCBA guidance to implement behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Promote safety and reduce interfering behaviors in a supportive team environment.
