Mercyhealth is seeking an Autism Technician to deliver behavioral services in the autism program under supervision and support the treatment team’s plan. You will perform in-home and community services, document patient progress, and participate in quality improvement activities.

The role requires 40 hours of autism orientation, current CPR/BLS within 90 days, and certification in Managing Threatening Confrontations within 90 days. Equal opportunity employer.

• Must complete 40 hours of specified orientation on autism and application of techniques.
• CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Managing Threatening Confrontations Certified within 90 days.

Mansioni

• Provides in-home and community behavioral services to patients with autism as directed in the treatment plan.
• Attends meetings, provides feedback about patient progress, and shares impressions of patient status.
• Documents observations and care provided in the medical record.
• Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
• Participates in department and unit performance improvement activities.
• Maintain de-escalation training and utilize de-escalation techniques daily.
