Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist to work with adults 21+ in CAAPP, focusing on FBAs and PBSPs to reduce challenging behavior and teach replacement skills in daily settings.

The role is an Independent Contractor (1099) position with flexible hours and collaboration with families and Community Support Professionals. A valid license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure preferred.
• At least one year experience developing and implementing FBA’s and PBSP’s.
• Applied Behavior Analysis experience required.
• Licensed Behavior Specialist or BCBA preferred.
• Completion of FBA training preferred but not required.
• License and vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments.
• Develop and implement a Positive Behavior Support Plan with the individual and team.
• Provide ongoing assessment, program design, monitoring of interventions, data collection and direct therapy.
