Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Consultant to design and direct individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and adolescents and their families in a community-based setting. This independent contractor role serves NEPA counties, with a focus on CASSP-aligned practices and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Mental Health Master’s Degree with ABA certification or other behavioral management.
• Alternative: degree with 12 credits in behavior management and 1 year supervised treatment experience.
• One year experience with behavioral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provides expertise in behavioral management protocols.
• Collaborates with treatment team to design and direct implementation of individualized behavior modification plans.
• Identifies behavioral goals and intervention techniques for child/adolescent and family needs.
• Develops discharge planning criteria and outcome-based short-term goals.
• Provides clinical services to child/adolescent and family.
• Maintains confidential clinical records and related documentation.
