Maxim Healthcare Services in Petaluma, CA is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role offers a salary of $26–$27 per hour with flexible scheduling (PT/FT) and opportunities for ongoing supervision by a BCBA.

Responsibilities include delivering one-to-one behavior interventions, assisting with daily activities across self-help, communication, social and cognitive domains, and documenting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least one year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children or willingness to obtain.
• TB test updated within past 90 days or willingness to obtain.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing, ambulation and related tasks.
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
