Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Emeryville, CA is hiring for an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider in San Mateo to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. This role emphasizes one-to-one behavioral interventions and daily activities to support self-help and communication skills.

Position offers flexible scheduling (PT and FT), ongoing BCBA supervision, and benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and PTO, with opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental delays preferred.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work or behavioral sciences preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children required or willing to obtain.
• TB test updated within 90 days or willing to get.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas.
• Assist with personal care activities as needed (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.).
• Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals in the Behavior Support Plan.
