Maxim Healthcare Services in Vacaville, CA is hiring an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviors. The role involves one-to-one behavior intervention, data collection, and supporting daily activities in self-help, communication, social and cognitive domains.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, TB test, and at least one year of related experience; college coursework in psychology or education is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• College coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferred.
• Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get).
• Updated TB test within past 90 days (or willing to get).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior areas and crisis intervention.
• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, oral hygiene, meals, dressing) as needed.
• Implement and collect data of behaviors and goals per Behavior Support Plan.
