Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Hayward, CA is hiring a Behavioral Support Provider to work with individuals with developmental delays and challenging behaviours. This role offers $27-$29 per hour with weekly pay and paid training.

You will deliver one-to-one behavioral intervention services and support daily living and communication goals under supervision. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with special needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in educational or healthcare setting preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors.
• CPR/First Aid certification current for Adult & Child.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges.
• Assist with daily program activities in self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis intervention.
• Assist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as needed.
• Implement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan.
