Job summary

Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) invites applications for a Teacher of Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will provide specialized instruction and support to students with autism, helping them meet academic, social, behavioral, and life-skill goals.

Collaboration with paraprofessionals, service providers, and families to design and implement IEPs is essential. The position requires a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with ASD endorsement and experience in student

Qualifications

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with ASD endorsement.
Successful student teaching experience required; two years of experience preferred.
Meet State of Michigan DHS clearance requirements.
Ability to lift and move students, follow individualized support plans, and work collaboratively in team environments.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction and support to students with autism to achieve academic, social, behavioral, and life-skill goals.
