Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and experience with students with special education needs; Michigan teaching certificate preferred. We value diversity, equity, and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience with students with special education needs

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for and expertise in working with students with special education needs
• Support students in reaching their IEP goals
• Document progress toward IEP goals and support development of new goals as necessary
• Provide instruction in math, literacy, social studies, and science to students on your caseload
• Use data to guide and differentiate instruction
• Learn and grow by incorporating feedback from school leaders, colleagues, students, and professional development
• Build relationships with students and parents to ensure a safe, welcoming learning environment
• Other duties as assigned to support the Lansing School District mission
