Job summary

EASTCONN's Clinical, Developmental, and Therapeutic (CDT) Program in Willimantic, CT seeks an ABA Instructor to support students and staff in a structured educational setting focused on academic and personal growth.

The role works under supervision of a Special Education Teacher to promote a safe learning environment and address behavioral needs through applied behavior analysis within K-12 instruction.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with autism spectrum disorders or significant behavioral needs.
• Application of applied behavior analysis preferred.
• B.A. degree with concentration in child development or related field.
• Computer competency.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and classroom staff to promote a safe and healthy environment for learning.

EASTCONN's Clinical, Developmental, and Therapeutic (CDT) Program located in Willimantic, CT. is recruiting for an ABA Instructor to assist students and other classroom staff to promote a safe and healthy environment for learning.

This position works under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher or other certified staff who assigns tasks and reviews work upon completion. This program provides highly structured, supportive, and therapeutic environments for students in grades K-12 who benefit from additional clinical and behavioral support to achieve academic success and personal growth. It serves students and focuses on helping them develop academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills.

Required Qualifications include: Experience with children with autism spectrum disorders or significant behavioral needs and application of applied behavior analysis preferred. B.A. degree with concentration in child development or related field. Computer competency.

Compensation: This position is represented by a union. Placement within the range is based on factors including education, experience, licensure/certification, internal equity, and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
