Behavior Frontiers is seeking an Authorizations Coordinator to bridge families with funding sources and internal teams, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely authorization records. You will coordinate with Clinical, Scheduling, Intake, and Billing to protect continuity of care and revenue cycle integrity.

This role emphasizes excellent client service, meticulous documentation, and adherence to payor requirements while supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with client service mindset.
• Strong time management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Ability to review documentation for accuracy and identify missing/inconsistent information.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite.
• Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted contact for families navigating authorization requirements and funding changes.
• Communicate authorization status, required documents, next steps, and requirements clearly to families.
• Ensure timely submission of documents to funding sources for authorization approval.
• Review authorization records for accuracy, dates, codes, units, and funding source alignment.
• Partner with Billing and Revenue Cycle to identify gaps and support clean claim submission.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Intake, Scheduling, Billing and external stakeholders to protect continuity of care.
