Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years designing or architecting multi-tier web services.
• 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Experience with the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, reviews, source control, build, testing, certification and livesite operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers who build the tools, frameworks, and mechanisms that verify authentication and authorization correctness at AWS scale.
• Define and evolve the team's approach to testing, validating, and measuring consistency across hundreds of AWS services.
• Own the team's roadmap and drive testing coverage and tooling improvements.
• Identify and invest in opportunities to apply AI for test generation, coverage analysis, anomaly detection, and automated verification.
• Collaborate with teams across AWS to drive remediation and communicate findings to senior leadership.
• Build mechanisms that surface findings early and track resolution, driving continuous improvement in correctness.
• Keep the customer perspective at the center of everything and strengthen trust through security.
