Job summary

D2B is seeking a Construction Designer / Structural Detailer to produce fully coordinated drawings and DA packages in line with Australian Standards and NCC. You will model structural steel in Revit and detail light gauge framing with Framecad to deliver precise documentation for manufacturing, construction, and sales teams.

The role requires 4+ years of design experience, offshore exposure, and formal engineering or drafting qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of design and drafting experience in the building industry.
• At least 2 years of offshore experience for Australian companies.
• Formal qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, or related drafting discipline.
• Framecad experience of 3+ years and strong Revit proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fully coordinated drawings, site layouts and DA packages.
• Model structural steel in Revit and document light gauge framing with Framecad.
• Create production drawing packages for manufacturing and assembly.
• Generate sales drawings and AS BUILT sets.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fully coordinated documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with NCC, Australian Standards and IMS.
