Canyon Ranch Austin is seeking an experienced events professional to lead the daily operations of the Events department, coordinating conferences, catering, and AV services.

Partner with Sales to maximize revenue, build long-term client relationships, and ensure seamless execution of group functions. The role requires 3–5 years in events, an associate degree or equivalent, and a valid driver's license, with benefits including spa access, health plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent two-year training, education, or experience.
• 3–5 years in events or related industry.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, client-facing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Events department, coordinating conferences, catering functions, events, and AV services.
• Maintain strong partnership with Sales to maximize revenue opportunities and monitor group pickup, room blocks, and attrition.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.
• Create detailed BEOs and group resumes for corporate and social events, ensuring accuracy and alignment across departments.
• Collaborate with department heads to communicate event specifics and support operational needs.
• Monitor the department budget, maintain cost controls, and report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
