Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin invites applications for an Events Manager to oversee daily operations of the Events department, as our new Texas Hill Country wellness destination opens in Fall 2026. You will coordinate conferences, catering, events and AV services, ensuring seamless execution of each function.

Working closely with Sales, Revenue Management and department heads, you will build lasting client relationships, draft BEOs, monitor budgets, and represent Canyon Ranch with professionalism and care

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent two-year training/experience.
• 3–5 years in conference services or event management.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, service-oriented env.
• Professional, reliable and client-facing demeanor.
• Flexibility to support diverse on-site event functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Events department, managing all on‑property conferences, catering, events and AV services.
• Partner with Sales to maximize revenue, monitor group pickup, room blocks and attrition.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships with consistent communication.
• Create detailed BEOs and group resumes for corporate and social events.
• Collaborate with department heads to communicate event specifics and support operations.
• Monitor and manage the department budget and report to Director of Sales & Marketing.
